I'm brand new to the Blackberry world having put away my jail broken iPhone 5.

My problem is that I never get a voicemail notification. I am using GVoice now but even before that whenever someone left me a VM I would never be notified.

Am I doing something wrong or is that a non-feature of the Blackberry OS?

I don't think it's in os 10 because I also don't get voice mail notifications

You mean the icon? I get it. At first I didn't but then I wiped the phone and it started working.

I too had this problem. I restarted the phone and bam it showed up

also you can try restarting your hub before a full restart by doing 5 swipes at the top right hand corner while in the hub

Go to Hub>3 dots bottom right>setting>hub management>scroll down> see if voice mail is turn on

I had the same problem. I had to call AT&T to have them reset my voice mail. It works perfect now.

Voicemail is turned on. In Hub under voicemail there is nothing listed. I do use GVoice but only for voicemail, not calling. It's driving me crazy!

Have been trying to get someone to tell me how to get a simple "you have voicemail" push notification (just basic vm, not VVM) for a while now. BlackBerry tech says AT&T hasn't written the software yet. AT&T says it should be happening, but it's not. The only way I know I have a voicemail is to randomly call up the voicemail from time to time to check. Doesn't seem like it would be difficult to have a "voicemails" section of the hub with a number by it to tell me if I have 1, 2, or 3, or x unheard voicemails. That kind of seems like smartphone 101 and I shouldn't need to download programs or wipe the phone to get that super basic kind of notification.

Waiting a few weeks to see if BB or AT&T come up with a solution. If not, I may just reactivate my old iPhone. Waited MONTHS on the Q10 and am super disappointed that push notifications for basic voicemails don't seem to be an option at this point.
