No Update for STL100-2?

Hi,
well since Germany release was delayed to march, I got my z10 shipped from UK.
(Unlocked device STL100-2)
After now reading stuff about the new official update I tried to get it too..

So I first checked OTA: Nothing.

Tried the webupdate: Phone got wiped and installed again:
Software Version: 10.0.10.32
OS: 10.0.10.261
Build: 426597
Flash Player: 11.1.121.106
Air: 3.1.0.106
...
WebKit: 10.0.10.65
Browser: 10.0.10.281

Tried via BB Link: Same stuff.
(Every step was tried once with a sim and once without).

What am I doing wrong?

I have same issue . UK unlocked phone. my phone is on software release 10.0.09.348 , with THREE sim card. OTA just reports i have latest version. Tried blackberry link, it comes up with message ! reset device , then no visible sign it is doing anything - or option to cancel... Is this actually about to install the latest version for me. I looks as if you have a later version than i have

Einfach eine Vodafone-SIM rein (muß nicht mal aktiviert sein, kann auch PrePaid sein) und in den Einstellungen auf Softwareaktualisierung gehen, sollte umgehend das Update auf 10.0.10.90 angeboten werden.
Put a Vodafone-SIM in the Z10 and an update to 10.0.10.90 should be offered.

In Dezember, Ich habe mit mein unlocked Rogers 9900 von Kanada ein Prepaid Vodafone -SIM rein und das neueste Vodafone software OS war gesendete um mich.

Das ist auch bestimmt mit ein unlocked Z10 von UK wenn ein Vodafone-DE SIM ist drin.

Put in a Vodafone Germany SIM!

Hi, I have an unlocked Z10 running on Three too.
To get the update just pick up a Vodafone payg sim, and get it that way. Three support told me on Twitter that they have no current plans to roll out this version.
Works faultlessly this way though.

I got my update on Vodafone, phone was unlocked as I got it at the launch.

I really don't get it why I should need a vodafone sim?!
When I start the phone withour any sim, shouldn't it get the newest OS version available @bb?

it's because the update is tied to the operator and the BB type they want to support (STL100-1/2/3).

So if you put the "wrong" operator simcard and the wrong BB type, you won't get the update you're supposed to.

hopefully BBRY will change this metod in the future

I have a STL100-1 running on O2 Germany. No luck here, i guess they wont release an update ever because its either going to be STL100-2 or STL100-3 thats going to be released here.

BlackBerry must start releasing updates directly for unlocked phones. Its no way fair to provide them through carrier.

Vodafone UK has no LTE yet so the update removes or disables LTE completely, a general update would probably leave it on unnecessarily.

Which model do you have ?

I tried STL100-1 with vodafone.de sim , again no luck.

Meiner Meinung nach hat das STL100-1 keine CE und darf demnach nicht in der EU vertrieben werden. Demnach glaube ich nicht, dass du ein Update für das Phone bekommen wirst.

Für das STL100-2 ist die 10.0.10.90 von Vodafone die richtige Version. Ich nutze es im Netz von O2 und habe keine Probleme. (Aber eine top Akkulaufzeit: heute 5:00 vom Strom und jetzt trotz einiger Telefonate, BBm Mails Photos Videos und Surven immer noch 65%)

STL002 telkomsel indonesia. still no update from february 6th

but the phone just launched march 4th and due for sale march 15th..so wait is there!!!
battery get worse every day, switch to lumia 820 whilst waiting for an update
