The only way to get facebook would be to sideload the last working. Bar file

To give a better understanding of what is going on...

Facebook stopped letting BlackBerry have access to their newer APIs. With that, BlackBerry could no longer update the Facebook app (which was provided by BlackBerry, not Facebook). BlackBerry could no longer provide the support they wanted to provide, so they simply stopped providing the app. Instead, what you see is a browser link on the homescreen.

This happened over a year ago - end of March last year.

Facebook for BlackBerry 10 has been updated, but you're not going to like it | CrackBerry.com

If you've updated the OS in your phone in the past year, the full Facebook app as been gone since then.

As mentioned above, you can sideload the last working full Facebook app and some elements still work like integration with the Hub (and Contacts, maybe, not sure about that), but who knows for how much longer.

I still have it on my Classic. Contact integration still works but when you click the app it will ask you to log out and update. I just put the icon into a crap folder that I have for stuff that can't be deleted from the device.

There's a thread on how to get the old native BB10 Facebook working on 10.3.3.x. Worked for me. Granted, the native app is weak and the native FB Messenger don't work, but I didn't have to install the Android apk.

I have done a the following....

Did a clean wipe to phone, and never updated original facebook app.

Updated every single one i needed, just not the facebook one.

For facebooking i use face slim in Bbstore .

That way i still keep all contacts and merge them when needed ....

Possible side effect is , never seem able to update to os 10.3.3....
Still have 10.3.2 and never finds me an update for os .

If you've collected in order, the older auto-loaders to reset the beloved Zed10, you will have your older FB back, and decline all upgrades...
