finally to day my BBm was fixed by the reps and right after Bell pushed the update
but NOW when I look in the contacts 90 % of them who had BBM voice,
Me and them dont have the green icon that says we can chat
and the other ones who has the z10 dont show the video chat anymore..
this things are driving me crazy..... thanks for the up dates

None of my friends have a BB. They either have a iPhone or Samsung......or some other phone. So i have yet to try BBM video chat.

My video chat icons are also missing after update from Bell, 672 version. Should i wipe and reload the Z10? I am still able to return video calls to a playbook if I call back from the Notifications screen, there it still shows 'playbook video chat'.

Im on bell and thry are there. Id doubt it is a carrier issue

I'm on Bell and icons seem to be there after the update. Remember that for people on older devices that need to be on wifi to enable BBM voice, the icon might be grayed out. Sorry don't have any other suggestions.

ok, maybe rime for a refresher. I did not notice what was missing until I found that I was unable to call my parents playbook today, There is no way to start the video call, i have made several of these calls in the past week or two, So, where should the icons be? Is it me that having a bad day?

yeah i have a mate whose Z10 has been experiencing this issue after the new OS update. see how it goes, he's planned to do a backup over the BB Link then he'll wipe his Z10's data and restore it back.

I've also noticed this after the update. It seems that the video icon in the right corner if my BBM conversations is either grayed out or not there at all. I've also have had problems connecting on BBM video. I more frequently get a connection error. I'm also with Bell.

No problem with BBM Video nor BBM Voice.

In some cases its just a matter of disabling the mobile network and WiFi and re enabling.

I know people are probably aware but the recipient needs to have BBM 7 or above as well.

I have done this quite a few times. It seems to work very seldom.
It's very annoying, it now feels like BBM video and talk is broken.

On another note. It seems that BBM messages are slow to receive and send in comparison to last official build. The Grey checkmark is prevalent far to often before it changes to the delivered symbol.

Same problem here. My voice/video chat icon is very flaky. Sometimes its there and works great; other times it's gone and I have no idea why. No pattern that I can see.

Anyone figure it out?

I just experienced this too. My wife just went out to upgrade her 9900 to Z10 and wanted to BBM Video with mine after she got it, but neither of us had either icon beside our names. We're both on Bell. I've used voice before but never video, so wanted to check it out. Scrolling through my contacts, I can see other contacts with either icon beside them including the video.
I believe what's happening is someone on either side is probably not connecting to the BIS properly. When she gets home to a WiFi connection, she'll have to update the OS, so maybe that will help as well.

Just noticed this today. BBM Voice/Video icons are missing from all my BBM Chats. I just received a 5 Mb update from Rogers yesterday. Think it might have broken something.
