So I've had my Z10 for 5 days now. Initially everything worked fine, including Facebook. However since then, 'something' happened and I stopped receiving FB notifications altogether. I've tried everything I can think of: soft and hard reboots, deleting and recreating the FB account, uninstalling the app, and finally fully deleting and re-downloading the app, but so far nothing has worked. Unfortunately I've found little if any information on this issue and options to fix it. It's not the end of the world, but it would be nice to get this fixed. Anyone else run into this?

U have to restore only media and setting don't restore all
Then the application u can download again in BlackBerry world
That's can make your phone faster get notifications
I try it all ready

Having the exact same issue it seems only the newsfeed, I can see updates if i go to indivudual friend / group.
Am on STl100-2 OS 10.1.0.2354. Already tried the same ,delating (complete including from BBworld and then download again) re-install and device reset.

How about reload the os?
Because this os is a lots off issues
I have issue on my bbm
It's make me angry really Hrrggg
I do security wipe then Ok ready but my media doesn't restore properly

Also reloaded this OS and nothing changed. I do like the OS good battery performance and all seems to work besides this notification will not downgrade yet.....

I had the same problem. I went to Settings-Account-Facebook and I deleted the account.
I deleted also the app and I re-installed all.
So, in Settings, I underlined all without Found Friends. And the problem solved.

My advice? Facebook is on its way out the door. Too many issues on the news lately. Even its target audience of teens are walking away because of the overwhelming drama and dangers associated. Try Twitter if you haven't ; much better world.

Thanks everyone. Have tried all your suggestions but nothing has made a difference. Obviously I'm not the only one that's encountered this. I think I'll just sit tight and wait for the update that fixes this. It's all very new anyway so there's bound to be bugs in the system.

There is a solution for the disappearing news feed.

Someone posts this question almost every day. No one ever seems to search the forum or pay attention to the "Related Threads" that appear when you create a post to see if it's already been solved (which it has).

This solves the issue with the news feed disappearing, but the OP mentioned "Notifications" stopping. Notifications are different than the newsfeed.

A notification is, for example, hearing the phone beep and seeing a star on the fb app icon when someone sends you an fb message, or leaves a comment on your status.
