    Z10 doesn't auto suggest addresses I've typed before. Not contacts but things like businesses. My Bold and 9000 automatically began suggesting after a few characters were typed. Looked thru every setting--anyone else.

    You won't find feature parity between java based os7 and posix based bb10.

    You'll see the auto email addresses change off and on as they tweak it.

    Right now it shows me email suggestions just not ones I need.

    I think you can also use a contacts name instead of the email address.

    First off, welcome to CrackBerry!
    If you have a sec, please update your profile to include your carrier and maybe your location. Makes it easier for others to help you sometimes.

    I just tried and my Z10 is auto-suggesting email addresses to me, included email addresses NOT in my Contacts from whom I've received emails previously.
    I could not find a setting for this either, so it should be there, unless you're on older OS than me that didn't do this.

    1. What is your current OS?
    2. When did you get the device?
    3. Do you know if it ever suggested email addresses before?

    For some basic troubleshooting, you could try a device reset first. (NOT the same as a restart.)
    Hold down top button, for about 30 seconds. Keep pressing it down, ignoring onscreen countdown and restart option, BB splashscreen, black screen, red LED, BB splashscreen again. I keep holding it down until I see the blue startup icon.

    System settings. Language and Input. Spell Check. Edit Personal Dictionary. Add your words there and save them. Makes typing bad words easy too.

    First, tnx for the replies. Will update profile--bad CB manners but I'll catch on
    Device is ATT. Have had it a few weeks, and it's never suggested anything but contacts. Running 10.0.10. No new updates pending but will try your reset idea. Good to know you get auto suggestions-- means it's my device at fault. Sometimes I want an address I do not keep in contacts but that I've emailed/vice versa before. Maddening because all my other devices did this ....

    I think he's referring to it being a work device using the BB Balance feature.

    But I'm guessing this is your own personal device?
