I've been traveling in the US for work recently and was surprised to see that I only get 3G connection when I'm there... I was on T-Mobile in California and AT&T in NYC... I thought Rogers network was fully compatible with the AT&T network.

AT&T's LTE network is still very much under construction. I went home to New Jersey over the weekend and I had no LTE service there. It is available here in Baltimore, Maryland.

    It isn't a compatibility issue

Att does not allow roaming past 3g on their network

Is it an STL100-3 (assuming it is a Zed10) or STL100-2? The -3 is compatible and should be 4G on AT&T and T-Mobile. It might get LTE on T-Mobile but probably not AT&T.

I guess it is not a phone problem but more of a limitation from US carriers... thanks for your answers.
