Yesterday, a co-worker and I decided to test NFC out. He had his new S4 and I obviously, was on my Z10. While I was able to send him a web address (from my browser) and a couple of images, I was unable to receive some pictures he was trying to send to me. I unchecked the "Prompt before Receiving" check box but still it doesn't work. I get an error related to an unknown file type; it's a jpg. What am I doing wrong?

I've had no problems sending stuff back and forth between my Z10 and Galaxy Nexus via NFC, but truthfully I haven't really sent more than a few wallpapers.

Does the S4 maybe use a proprietary form of Samsung's Android Beam tech? I know they're trying to break out on their own as a company that doesn't need Google, and that means breaking a few things, compatibility-wise.

Same here but with a Galaxy S3 and Lumia 820. Nothing works. However, I could receive a file from Android to my phone. God knows why, I certainly don't. Needless to say that it works from BB to BB.
