I m new to z10, just got it.
I have put it on charging since 2 hours its not even 50%...is this normal for first time?

What charger are you using? mine does take a while.

I m using the orginal usb cable that came along with it...
And adapter is apple ipad big one...is it fine? i have got a small usb adapter with it should i use it?

First advice update your OS to 10.2. And second use only the charger that came with the device. Enjoy your new Z10..

I n india the update is expected this weekend...
Ya, trying the charger which cane along with it...hope it works..
I tried ota for 10.0.1 but its showing 2032 error...so now i m downloading link...hope thatbto works

Use the BB charger that came with the phone. If you have a PlayBook charger that will charg it faster. But the stock BB charger does charge it slowly. And the first time you charge the phone up will take a while. Not sure why that is but I remember mine taking a very long time to charge the first time.

It takes forever when I charge it via my laptop usb. But when it's charged via a wall outlet an hour is about the time it takes.

The charger that came with my Z10 didn't work properly. It was more than the fact that it fit poorly into the phone, also it was hit or miss if it would charge or not.

Switched to my PlayBook charger, haven't had a problem since.

3hours n still 70% approx....
Its taking forever....
I dont have a playbook...
Trying to update via link. Its showing its.updated... but the fact is, its stock 10.0.9.xxxx

The stock charger takes a while at first, but it does get better. I switched to a good quality, high output charger 2+ Amp. It takes less than an hour and has not affected battery life so far. If you use the older 500 mA chargers it will take you forever to charge. PB charger does work well. 10.2 (leak) has made the battery last MUCH longer for me and charging seems better.
