I just downloaded the newly release update of blend for both my Z10 and my desktop.
Now I am enjoying Blackberry Blend.

ps I am using the leaked os 10.3.1

Oh, it won't work with Vista? Ops................

It does work between my Z10 and my Samsung Tab S. Kind of neat. Would like larger fonts.

Just so you know Blend is basically for you blackberry Hub (email, BBM SMS)

That's cause they haven't released the necessary api to 3rd party developers yet. WhatsApp employees on the forum have said they'll add Blend integration when the api gets available

Working fine on my Z30 10.3.1.1016. Had to install Blend from Blackberry website as got the error on the device that the version of Blend on my computer needed to be updated. Only one issue so far, wondering if anyone has a work around yet for it. When I respond to an email there is no drop down option for the send from email. I receive email from my gmail account and like to respond with another account. On my device I can do this but on Blend I cannot.
Otherwise super excited about this update.

Yeah, because Blackberry is about security!

Just hit in your Settings -> Security and Privacy -> Application Permission -> WhatsApp.

Now read there what they wanna have access to - why should Blackberry implement this to their desktop software?

What is or is not inherent in Vista that precludes support. It is still supported by MS and probably will be for a few more years.

I may have missed something. I called myself purposely but I did not notice anything. I'll have to try again.

You should see a notification in the bottom right hand corner of your screen that you have an incoming call with caller ID.

Thats where it shows on my laptop running Windows 7 pro...

Yes i got one phone call while the device was connected to my computer, and got a notification on my desktop screen showing the name of the person calling

Apparently, it may not work on the Tablet (android) version. Someone else said that they did NOT get a notice but did on a pc.
