So recently I been calling people a lot, and they all have been saying I keep calling from a private number but I wasn't, in z10 for me the feature for showing my number was off and it kept calling as private.

So all you do is press the call button, swipe down, go to settings, scroll down to show my number and turn it on. I didn't know about this so thought I'd share it with you guys.

This has been a feature on BlackBerry's for some time but glad they decided to bring it to the new platform.

Oddly enough I just noticed it was there today too. I do remember it being on my old 9700 as well but never used it. I can think of very few instances where I would want my number hidden.

I almost never pick up a private call.

If someone won't show their identity then to **** with them I say. Leave your message on my VM. I'll phone you back if I want to LOL.

Hey, you know me so I should have the right to know who you are.

Been there for many years now...but if you call a number hosted on VoIP, it will see your caller ID/ number.

Thanks for the tip. I was wondering where to store my voicemail password and I see it is in the same place. I think I'm going to have to break down and read the manual to discover all these "hidden" features, ha,ha.
