    Post New Images Released

As you can see, that weird grey box around the icons (shown previously on the Dev Alpha) has disappeared to a point. So they've been listening to us! Great, this makes the look of the phone's UI a little more attractive.

These are the old icons. This was probably made a couple of months ago.

I would preferred an all white Z10.

The phones look old and out of date. It would have been a nice release in early 2012, but does BB really think this phone can compete with the 5" 1080p megaphones being released in 2013?

I am willing to think they(rim) thought that this phone will compete as well as many people! Not everyone wants to carry a small tablet around!

Don't waste your time on the troll. 4 posts and they are all negative towards Rim and BB10. Rim must be doing something right when the haters are starting to come to CB.

I personally think, and this is just my opinion that most Andriod phones are going 5 or 5+ inches on screen size to make up for some of the inadequacies of the platform, by giving people more bang for the buck. Whatever works for each individual. I think the size of Z10 is perfect. I don't need a screen that large, and this is just me of course. I would rather have something that works close to flawlessly with no holes in the system. From what I hear, droids have improved drastically which is good for the users and overall user experience, but they will never be a blackberry. I put all of my trust on a secure system, which is something that no one else can offer right now

Exactly. They are new to all of us as CrackBerry posted the images this morning. So I made a thread about how they seemed to have removed the grey boxes.

Not just the icons, but the status bar is solid black and the action bar on the home screen is grey, reminiscent of the build shown when BB10 was revealed. So these would have been made somewhere between the Dev Alpha A and B releases.

Well since, for most things, first they will be released in Canada and America, then a few days after, and other places like India, Asia and others a few days after that. I'm thinking; give it until 10th of Feb for India. It'll probably come earlier.

Does anyone else wish the white model was actually all white without the black bezel?

I'm actually liking the black bezel of the white z10. Makes the phone really "pop" and stand out from all the droids and iphones imo. It also frames and contrasts w the screen, not to mention the utility of touch gestures. jus wish there was a white silicone skin for playbook to match now.

The Lumia's white bezel looks a bit plasticky to be honest.

No. If I wanted that, I would buy an iPhone.

Hmmm. Now that I am sitting here looking at my phone, an ALL white GS3, I am now realizing just what kind of hypocrite I really am. On a BB, the Black Bezel is known to all, I think losing that would make the iPhone users say, oh yeah, look an iPhone wannabe.
No such thing as too many backups. Remember that.

Honestly i think that all three of those phones looks incredibly similar to each other and more "boring" than z10. Z10 is taller and features playbook styling (speakers, corners) and touch sensitive bezel. And the back is pretty slick too. Also we still don't have great quality pics of z10 overall, especially the white one. If anything the all black z10 is more boring than the white. And heres a render of all-white z10 for comparisons sake.

White phones get dirty too fast. I want an industrial coloured one.

I had a silver Pearl 8230 and now have a "Zinc Grey" Torch 9810. I think I'm ready for my first purely black BlackBerry (not counting my PlayBook, though)!

All in all, I really like those images. Seeing those renderings, though, makes me miss the original icon styling. It actually looks really nice in those images and while I didn't like them at first, they grew on me to the point where I kind of prefer them to the current style. Though, I doubt we've seen the final icon styling yet.
