There is no working side loaded Shazam version for our Z10. No matter what you've heard, it's wrong.

Try SoundHound for BB10.

I had Shazam on BB7... I way prefer SoundHound.

Besides finding every song I've tried in the last few months, it also features the lyrics for most of them and the lyrics SCROLL IN TIME WITH THE SINGER....!!!!!

Interesting - reviews are at both ends of the spectrum.

Well, I downloaded it and threw something I would have thought obscure - La Wally sung by Sarah Brightman - FOUND IT.

Potentially more obscure " Flower Duet from Lakme! - Found it, too.

(oh, and I denied it any gps/location permissions and it still works (for how long?)

I agree, I tried SoundHound and find that I prefer it.

I find Shazam is better than soundhound

If you want Shazam 4.0 your going to need the 10.2 leak and the unlocked runtime

The lower versions work with the debug token.

If you use the search function there are instructions as to how to do it.
