Hi Everyone

Sorry if i am posting this in a wrong place but I really need your help.

We have a Z10 for the company President. The issue is that his phone will stop ringing or vibrate when he receives a call. His sound profile is set to normal and i have checked all the settings. This happens after he connects the phone via blue tooth to his BMW car and then disconnects it when he is not in the car. Removing the battery fixes the issue but is not the overall solution to this issue.

I have also given him another working Z10 phone and he still gets this issue after using the blue tooth in his car.

Did anyone had this issue or know how to resolve it.

I'm also having the same problem that I have narrowed down to my car's Bluetooth. You could try calling blackberry customer support to service there is a fix. Check out this link , others are having the same problem

Thanks I have the same problem I was beginning to think that it was the car's fault but since mine is not a BMW I'll call BlackBerry tomorrow

Restating the device should bring things back to normal again till an update is out.


Does turning blue tooth off bring profiles back to normal?

Does someone tried to pair it with the BlackBerry music gateway? Because it doesn't work with mine. I tried a battery pull and it seems to work for now but as soon as I disconnect the device I cannot reconnect it. Well it connect but the sound go out from the phone speaker.

I use a BT headset from jawbone ,Zero problems with new z10

Make sure your musical gateway is not already paired with another device. I had to push down on the button on the top of the device.

It's not. It's flashing red and blue.
