    5 bars and can't make a phone call. 'The network is currently unavailable', yet my Bold 9900 has no problems.

    Phone is practically useless for telephony services when roaming.

    3 ITA, Wind Telecom SPA and I TIM. 3G coverage on all three carriers, 5 bars.

    Roaming on those three networks using Virgin UK .

    9900 has no problems placing calls if I put Z10 Sim Card in 9900. Yes, Micro SIM fits in 9900.

    Are you on LTE? Because with LTE you can not make call and the 990 has no LTE.
