1. I installed the 10.2.1.1055 leak. Tried to restore from a previous backup to get all my contacts, setting etc. The leak works fine the radios that is. With the berry symbol for BlackBerry data. However as I do a restore the radios stop working and there is no blackberry symbol. So unable to connect to blackberry servers. Any ideas..im unable to restore my content because of this. My phone is a z10 stl-100-1

2. After all this I tried to revert back to the 10.0 os, but every time I try to reload there is a error when extracting can't figure it out. So I'm stuck with this os but it works fine. Just upset that I can't restore Any ideas?

You didn't read the main leak thread, or at least the first 10 pages, for this OS, did you? Lots of threads discussing the various issues, bugs, etc... You can start with this one...

it has been shouted from the mountain top that you should not restore from your back up with this leak

You can restore everything but app data so you can get information you might need from remember. If you do this and your BBM symbol doesn't return, just do a factory restore. You'll still have the leak installed, but your phone will act as if it was fresh out the box and your BBM should work fine. I've actually done this.

Don't give up on this leak that quickly or you'll be missing out on a great OS. Download Firechest and backup your contacts and calendar. It's backed up to Dropbox. Great program that's a must have. Then load the leak again but this time don't restore anything and re-download Firechest. Restore your contacts and calendar.

See how the OS is working for you at this point. My guess is you'll be delighted. Download your other apps from BlackBerry World and setup your phone to your liking.

I have used the above method on the last two leak installations and I haven't had a problem at all.

Hook up your phone to BB Link on your PC. Choose restore to factory settings and you should be good to go.

I sort of made the same mistake. Upon further research.
A) do pre wipe before installing leak os
B) NEVER rstore settings or appd data
C) only syn contacts and data

Otherwise corruption occurs and can cause a lot of things to go haywire.

I'm getting used to this leak actually but if an official version ever is released, i'm just wondering how I would remove this version. So far the only thing I noticed is the in -ability to play music.
Any fix for this besides playing from file manager
