You're not far from me as I live in the region of East Sussex you're exploring.

Can confirm Three are really good, I use to be with them but at the time I never got reliable signal especially data. This us about five years ago when I had a thing for Sony Ericsson's. I made a switch to Vodafone because of family/friends on it but they're the priciest tariff about. Past couple of years especially the lead up to the Olympics Three have got much better. I'm inclined to move when I know the full extent of the 4G/LTE coverage in about 18 months but in not happy with the service Vodafone has promised.

But by then I hope to do some travelling of my own, North America, Africa and Asia. I'll be carrying my z10 with me and ask you guys what'd the best phone carrier support!

We were here 2 years ago mostly around London and loved it. This time we added a week and hired a car to go see the southern part of the country. Next year is southern Scotland and northern England.
Stop by Bath. One of my favourite English towns.

Spent 3 hours in the departure airport and about 2 in the arrival airport. Did not see any BBs. Of the 62 phones I could ID, 61 were iPhones, 1 was a Samsung Note 2. I have since since 2 BBs. 1 Bold 9900 and 1 old Curve. I am supremely happy I'm not wearing the uniform of the uninformed.
At the Toronto airport I spotted a few more blackberry phones couple of Q10s many bold 9900s no other z's. Tons of Android phones though a lot less iPhone.

If you are bringing an unlocked model I would say T-Mobile. They have very nice pre-paid options with generous data allowance. Their network is always getting better as well. I would say Verizon, but they use CDMA so you would need to hey one of their phones.

Amazing and impressive story. It is such a shame that this great functionality is pretty much unknown to so many people. BlackBerry should be shouting stories like this from the rooftops.

You forget, they don't advertise - it is beneath them to hawk their products!

This will likely be my final post as I'm about to board a plane.

The only thing I was unwilling to discuss until now is that 3 (three.uk.co) either does not know how to block HotSpot Mode or, doesn't bother with it. As such, those with BB10 (only tested on my unlocked Z10STL100-3/10.1.0.4633) has been a HotSpot for over 10 days for 15 GBP with no limit on how much data used. This is the deal of the year. You could drop your home Wi-Fi, buy a used BB10 and have very inexpensive Wi-Fi for 8 devices. The performance has been equal to or often better than the Wi-Fi we could find.

Glad you had a good time over here! As for the plumbing, it's called Character. Have a safe flight.
