    I updated my Z10 to 10.1.0.4181 successfully. Restarted the device and everything worked fine afterwards except it is still telling me software release 10.1.0.4181 is available and asks me to update.

    The software release is showing 10.1.0.4181
    Z10STL100-2/10.1.0.4633

    Are you seeing the update through Link or directly on the phone? I upgraded last month to 10.1.0.4181 OTA and lost all my text messages, the ability to send MMS and the ability to be on 4G. For some reason it stayed on 3G even when I chose LTE. I re-installed it (through LINK) and although I still can't send out MMS and wasn't able to recover my text messages, I'm able to be signed on 4G. I no longer have the option to choose LTE. It's Automatic or Manual. Also whenever I connect my phone through USB on my laptop and Link starts, it will alert me that an update is available. I just disregard it.

    I did not remove any carrier specific app.

    I did the update using Link, but now the device wants to update OTA to the same it is actually running.

    Have you tried the OTA update? Can't imagine the phone will blow up if you try.

    Mine did this after wifi update.
    Clicked to update again and it sorted it.

    On EE in UK.

    There are little bits and pieces that the Carrier needs to push - even after the Link update. For example; on Rogers in Canada they added "My Account" and "Rogers One Number" and a couple of other Rogers specific applications. The update is very small - less than 10mb I think - what size of update are you seeing?

    Yep you are right,it was announced 9mb and in the end it was aprox 14mb. No more suggestions to upgrade.
