I am at my wits end, can anyone help?

I've had my Z10 about a week and it's driving me nuts. I've had to do 4 wipes so far.

The issues being that the phone mysteriously duplicates entries in the calender and address book. Every calender enter 6 tomes and some contact entries up to 12 times !!! Rogers reps are at a loss. I tried Best Buy their head cell phone "Specialist" was baffled saying he had never seen this before.

I spoke with a cell phone repair tech that I know. He admitted he doesn't know much about OS 10 yet but suggested the following. Wipe sim card. Then wipe phone. Do device transfer before setting up Z10. Basically start from a clean slate.

I did this and he's a 50% genius. It has resolved the contacts issue!

Unfortunately the calender still has every entery in it 6 times?

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I don't have a Z10 (yet), but how many calendars do you have activated? I had this same issue when I had multiple selected on an older Blackberry. It pushed me to just store all my calendar events in 1 account. Sorry if you've already checked this.. just a shot in the dark.

Is it possible that when the calendar entries originally got duplicated, they synched back to wherever you're email account is? That would put all the duplicates right back on when synched down again after wiping.

What kind of calendar do you have and does it show 6 entries in its native view?

Turn off sync calender and contacts on all of your email accounts.

Then only use one to sync with.

Thanks for the ideas. I only have the 1 calender. The original calender on my computer
(Yahoo using Outlook 2013) does not show the multiple entries.

I guess I'm stuck manually deleting all the duplicate entries in the Phone's Calender which is going to be a major PITA.

Well I began manually deleting the duplicate entries and have now discovered that there are many missing random entries.
The entire calender on the Z10 is FUBAR.

Hopefully the update to link via USB cable will be here soon and I can repair this mess.

I now have to carry two phones so I have a working calender

You stated you use Outlook for your Yahoo email, correct? Log into the Web mail instead of looking at outlook and see what the calendar has listed there. I'd be interested to know.
