This is the simple fact. In fact it will probably do more in future updates... Yes todays news was bad, Yes it will probably interfere with dev support from major applications, but this process will take some time. Again the fact is I am no LESS happy with my device today than I was yesterday.

Agree wholeheartedly. And there will be millions of people tonight who don't read Crackberry and don't take an interest in this stuff, tapping away on their awesome Z10 keyboards chuffed to bits with their purchase. And those people will only get larger in number.

    Q2 is what counts most. Q1 didn't include the Q10. Q2, Q3 AND Q4 will all do better because they'll include the Z10, A10(hopefully), Q10 and Q5.

I don't think I've ever put so many Q's in one sentence. Whoa.

I couldnt be much happier with my bb10 device

Blackberry is a great company. Remember they are putting their funds into great phones not the PlayBook. I have 3 PB's and love them and will use them for a long time. Been a BB user for many years.

I guess these PB users cant move on.

My Z10 is rock solid. Just like yesterday. The device runs on BB10 and batteries. I don't think the stock share price impacts the performance of the device in any way.

I do expect that BB 10 will like iOS, once they have a new update, it must be for all devices, not only from some caries.
The way iOS is doing is much more effective than BB 10 is doing.

No disrespect but BlackBerry is faltering in the smartphone market while the German Boy Wonder plays in the infotainment market. Sadly I don't expect to see BlackBerry branded smartphones and tablets beyond 2016. The BlackBerry Z10 design team couldn't even manage to include a magnetic rapid charge port. And BlackBerry Bridge remains a shadow of its former self. In the wake of the layoffs and outsourcing I expected significant resource focused on BlackBerry 10 smartphones and the BlackBerry PlayBook. Alas we suffer a fool's dilemma.

I had pretty much written off BB10 on my PlayBook anyway.

I love my Z10 and love my Q10 too.

The way I look at it... yeah of course people who bought their phones in 2010/2011 are disappointed with BlackBerry, and I bet the millions of people who left had OS 5/6/7 devices. BlackBerry 10 is totally different, and while I'm of course disappointed that my PlayBook won't get BlackBerry10, I got it when it came out in 2011, and just got a new replacement a few weeks ago, so I pretty much have a new PlayBook that still does everything I want it to. I didn't buy it with the hope of Skyping or BBMing (though I do want the OS7 features of Bridge back, please!).

BlackBerry should not have said BB10 was coming to the PlayBook, and I guess there's no good time to tell everyone bad news. I'm sure they could go into the technological reasons as to why BB10 was bad on the PlayBook in testing, but whatever. I do feel bad for the people who bought the PlayBook recently, after being told that BB10 would come.

Anyways... even if this news came out before I bought my Z10 and Q10, I'd still buy them both. I don't look at it like BLACKBERRY LIED!!!!..I look at it like..BlackBerry spoke too soon. They've delivered BlackBerry10 to me beautifully in the form of my Z10 and Q10, and both devices, which are products of their new direction, have more than met my expectations.

They should have set the Z10 at a lower price point, I think, maybe $149.99 in the U.S., so more people would be able to get one.

BlackBerry, I'm not mad at you.

I suggested in another post, if they are so unhappy with their PlayBooks to donate them to a community centre, a school or an old folks home.
BUT, I'm keeping mine! Cheers all!
