    Hi,

    Anyone has problem changing their display pic lately? I have had this problem close to a month, have tried restoring, changing sim card, battery pull, bt still to no avail...any solution for Z10 on this?

    Are you doing it right?

    Open bbm.
    Tap your name.
    Tap your picture.
    There should be an option to change the pic. At the bottom. Tap that then navigate to a picture you want to use.

    You can't change your other contacts pictures.

    Hope that helps.

    Yup, i always managed to change my pic, bt not lately, i can see my bbm pic changed on my handset, but others wont display my new pic...i just realised that my post description is rather vague, apology for this, i can change bb display pic on my handset, but it wont get updated in my friends' bb

    If you've updated your avatar and you can clearly see that it has updated, ask a friend to restart their BlackBerry to see if it updates after communicating with the network again.

    Its not just one friend, basically everyone in my contacts haha...this is weird, if there is no solution to this specific bug for an unlucky guy like me, guess gotta wait for bbm update

    Tried another sim card, still f*** up, n if i add bbm contacts, theirs pics are blank...god damnnn

    Happened to me too, it has been more than a month.
    Some of my contacts' status are also not updated on my handset while their picture is updated normally.

    Have had the same problem for about 2 weeks, so annoying. Hope it gets fixed soon.

    I finally got it to work, wipe clean n start fresh without restoring, pain in the *** for the settings n apps download tho, but hey its working again!

    Btw, backup ur phonebook using Intouch app contacts, it back up n restore flawlessly on Z10..
