This has always been happening but now it's more and more. Just today I took 5 pictures and successfully shared 2 of them by text. Then I went back to look at them and they aren't there. In fact even pictures I took yesterday are gone as well. They seem to just automatically disappear ...

Does this happen to anyone else?

Go to files/camera, u will find them there...

I noticed that today!

Just had a baby in the family...my nephew...and all my pics weren't in the Pictures app when I was about to show them to people...and they luckily are in the file manager...but WHY do they disappear from the Pictures app??

How did you resolve that? My card I got is new as of January and is a Ultra Class...so do you just get a new one from the company? or reformat?

Try this,
If your camera is set to save the pics to the sd card, change the settings to save to device, then take a couple of pics, then confirm they are saved by viewing them.

Then change the settings back to save on the card.
That should fix the issue.

Always format a new card, and never bother to delete a card just reformat it.

Memory cards basically require service to allow them to function properly, and that service is formating them. They still don't last as long as they should, but they are more reliable.
