    Hi. Im new to Blackberry mobiles, and i bought one Blackberry z10. How can i get the mobile icon on Facebook chat?

    As far as I understand it, it only shows for people that are not online and have accessed FB using a mobile device. Or are on a very basic device and are accessing Facebook.

    The moment you become active, you show as online (the green dot). Has been my experience at least.

    Here is my experience. I don't know if you are wanting to show as online but the only way for you to show as online and available for chat is to login to Facebook on your browser and leave the it open as an active frame

    If you open the BB10 Facebook app, you show as online.

    You positive of this? I do not show as online while the app is open. The only time I show as online is when I login from my browser.

    Like I said, if you use the FB app, you'll get to see that. Hit the person icon on top right.

    You'd need to be on somebody else's FB account to be able to tell if you're online or not.
