    I'm pleased as punch with this app, it's light years better than the built in app.

    Downloaded and paid for the Western Europe Maps at a very reasonable price to be honest.

    If anyone else here has bought it you can also download 3D buildings and landmarks in the apps "shop" and they're free wooo hoooo

    not sure Dale, I can't say I noticed it when on the free version, I debated whether to go for the UK only or the Western Europe and decided to go for the WE one

    Once downloaded, it works off of GPS right? It shouldn't burn any data just like the maps program on Nokia phones. (correct me if I'm wrong)

    I just exchanged email with the developer and they said they are working on storing maps on sd card, so hopefully that will come soon and I can reinstall it.

    Well I just tried it and guess what. The first street in Montral that I try to imput with an address does not show up. On BB maps it works just fine......that is why I use my Lumia 920 as well LOL. Maybe I am doing something wrong when putting into the search but it did not find it, bummer.

    It's on-board navigation, so you download map(s) only once. Live traffic feature (separate purchase) does download traffic informations, but that's few kBs every 3 minutes, and you can turn it on and off with single tap.

    Yes, it uses 2gb of internal memory for the canada/US maps, that's why I raised the issue with Mireo.

    I'm also anxious to hear about storing maps on the sd card. The other issue I'm thinking about is;
    I like to mess around with various operating systems and I hate to have to download the 2.3 gig map every time I load up a new OS. Any ideas?

    The North American map is over 2 gigs. Its worth it, and I am excited to know they will have the maps running on the SD card soon. In the meantime the map works well offline, the female voices are sexy (in the store they offer comedians voices. When they have Woody Allen or Sarah Silverman, I'm definitely getting it), there are a lot of bells and whistles for all you bells and whistles folks.

    I installed a leaked os and I backed up the phone before that. After the restore, the maps were there so no, you don't have to download the maps every time. Do a full back up and a full restore

    Thanks for the info. I really don't like restoring, if I can stay away from it. I'll find the file!

    I use Magellan Compass Maps it has offline map cache and is an awesome map navigation program.

    For 4.99 that's all it out beats Miero and many others in the markets.

    Check it out in BB10 App World.
