The straight answer is yes, the card will work. Using a 64GB microSD card on your BlackBerry 10 smartphone | CrackBerry.com Needs to be reformatted in the phone first.

I am sure any brand name card will work. The Class 10 type would be best for speed. I have used Kingston and PNY SD cards in Blackberry phones.
I found with the lower than Class 10 speed of cards the camera starts having some delay.Jerry G.

The z10 formatted the card , however out of 64gb I've got 58.4gb left , whats not right is it ?

That sounds about right. You will NEVER have the full amount of space on a card or HDD or jump drive. It's the nature of the formatting process. A certain percentage of the space (usually somewhere in the 10% range) is taken up by the OS and the processes needed to make use of the card. The larger the card, the more space you lose. I have a 32GB card in my Z10 and I only have access to 29GB of it.
That's perfectly normal
