Hey guys, I need your help!

I have my Z10 since March and I am totally satisfied. But today, something weird happened: I called a friend and I noticed a very strange ringing. Like metallic/tinny sound. And also the voice of the counterpart is highly tinny! ... just hard to understand.

This has never happened before. Anyway, I already restarted. And also did the hard restart by tearing out the battery while it is on. But nothing changed. It's still unbearable to call someone.

Does anyone know what that is? Or does anyone have the same issue?

It's kind of frustrating. And even the recent news around Blackberry do not make this sound better :/

I would do one of two things. Either reload the software or take it back to the provider for repair/replacement.

Yea, waiting for 10.2 would be one thing I wanna do right now. Unfortunately, your last one isn't an option cause I had to unlock my phone for going abroad, thus no guarantee anymore :/

I don't think that it being unlocked would void the warranty.
