    I was minding my own buisness today when all of a sudden I got a message on my Z10 that it was MEP Locked. The message told me to contact my service provider. The phone did not stop working and I was able to get messages, take and receive phone calls, and texts. I happened to be walking by my local T-Mobile store so I stopped in. The reps there were mystified.

    When I got home I called T-Moble. They immediately told me it was a known issue that BlackBerry and T-Mobile were investigating. She said that I was not the first call she has gotten about this today affecting Z10s and Q10s. I was told to turn my Z10 off, the person did something, and I was told to turn it back on. She verified my software version which is 10.1.0.4200.

    She said that because it is a known issue, if I get the notification again, I should just turn my phone off and then turn it on again. The T-Mobile system is set to reset my phone if this happens again.

    I got a similar Notification today. Out of the blue. Wasn't doing anything with the phone...???

    Called TM and they also said it's a known issue (and the notification is in error).

    The good news is a battery pull seems to solve it.
