Maybe we haven't seen anything yet?!?
Hey forum, I just had the strangest idea hit me today during my break.
What 'if' we haven't seen the real Z10 yet? Now hear me out fanboys (myself included).
Has it not occurred to some of us that RIM could quite possibly be keeping something from all of us? Like what if the dev A and B devices developers have gotten are not really z10 prototypes? What if they are the lower/middle range line rim is planning on releasing? Rim had made it clear that they are planning on releasing something that will last 10years (that's a long time considering cellphones and software). Maybe they set out the dev models as a base. If developers can get wicked apps running on rim's low end phones- imagine what is possible with a super Blackberry
!!
Maybe the phones will look the same, or slightly different.. Who knows, can't wait to get my hands on one!!
That's just my 2cents, lemme know what you guys think!
Ps. I typed this on my 9780 using the bridge to my playbook
Wish I could get a free bb10
tuition is killing me

What we've seen is the real deal. I'm hearing that there aren't any real good "surprises" waiting at launch as far as software is concerned, most everything has already been leaked. The keyboard, camera and Balance are the coolest new features. Makes me think the juicy stuff will be app support(and it's not gonna be Skype), and/or free stuff(sd cards, holsters.....).
bbecause it's bbetter

i respect your opinion, and you maybe right.. but i'm just staying optimistic.
hopefully RIM is taking the extra step in keeping somethings a secret in hopes of attracting more customers. they might even offer sweet deals on apps like they were practically giving away some for the OS7 devices who knows.
my ONLY wish for the accessories is that they come out with some decent headphones in the box all the previous ones i've had were absolutely terrible.Pearl 8100 -> Bold 9780 -> Z10

Prototypes are landing in stores. They don't usually send those as a "gotcha" gag.

there is no hardware that will last 10 years, the 10 year plan is the QNX/BB10 base. Its the beginning of the platform that will evolve and expand for the next 10 years. And while im hoping for more at launch i suspect we have seen most of the goods but there should still be some things left that are icing on the cake

Yeah, whatever surprises there may be are going to be coming through the software not the hardware. There's no realistic way to keep the hardware secret because it has to go through so much outside testing, plus review units, getting stock to stores before launch... Not likely. But a software update could be kept secret reasonably easily I think, certainly it would be easier to do than hardware. So lets wait and see eh?
