ok so lets see if we can work this one out as its boring me and we are bored of whiping our phones all the time

we download a few apps, not lots as blackberry doesn't have lots but all my data goes on a 32GB micro hdsd ultra card, the only stuff on my phone is going app data, misc and contacts and messages I guess.

today I wiped all my messages to this month, re-synched all my accounts so they only synch on a 30 day interval, deleted all my apps and installed only the ones I wanted and removed all the app history in the available section

I also went and wiped 100 contacts from stupidly synced apps like facebook and linked in with waste full double entries everywhere and gave the phone one last redo and installed 10.2

after all of that my phone still says device memory

free - 2.0GB
documents - 7.4mb
misc - 5.3mb
camera - 278kb
videos - 0.0b
other - 13.9GB

I do not sideload apps, I do not save anything top the phone unless the phone will physically make me, just accessing the phone is slow on any computer and link is the most cumbersome rubbish pc program made for a phone ever its so much easier to just go mass storage on the memory card and ignore the phone.

I have a total of 5GB max in apps when using a calculator to add all of them together and then round up to its max plus 4gb os needed, where have I lost 4gb for no reason?

this thing is totally screwed, its like a brick for the last 3 months my phone has been completely full and I cant download anything

the phone is what like 7 to 8 months old what is wrong with these things?

this has got to happen across the board, and if it hasen't, go look at your memory and delete some stuff it wont budge there is something seriously up with this when it comes to storage,

if 18 apps and 5 games is its limit then this is seriously going to go in the bin.....I have had every blackberry released since I have been old enough to own, worked for them, freelanced for them, partnered with o2 for 5 years as a specialist as I liked them so much and I am loosing that passion completely....


this phone has really been a chore every since February/March 2013 I cant remember as this is my 3rd as launch models had signal issues

somebody help a slowly fading diehard blackberry user and abuser before "the mess that just works" of android means I have to go

The other data thing is a bug. Please do a quick search here. I never had that, but I know there is a fix.

everyone just says wipe the phone, always having to do this seriously blackberry why do you do it, these are massive things that underlying destroy the phones functions and you just leave it there for us to work out and fix
