Hello,

I'm on Z10 version 10.0.10.32 and as i heard, i won't be able to install Whatsapp on that version.
When i try to upgrade, it says i already have last version.

Is there a way to upgrade it manually as we could do with OS 6 and OS 7 ?

Connect your Z10 to Link and try the Reload device software. I am upgraded to 10.0.10.960. The device settings option using 3G of Wifi told me the device was up to date. PS i suggest to make a backup of your device before you update your device. Good Luck!

Find out if there is another carrier that has the latest version then pop in their sim card. Sim card does not need to be active but it will only work for an unlocked phone.

The other thing you should do is call your carrier and yell at them for not pushing latest updates.

Do you mind using the offline or leaked versions,? I tried several ways but i cannot get the update properly. Finally i got the solution from bbvietnam forum, to use the autoload file and push it into my z10.

i tested with and without sim card, uninstalled and reinstalled BB Link, it still says 10.0.10.32 is the last version..

what can i do ?

I've tried all the methods given by CB (I'm STL100-2, in France) and had no luck, with or without the SIM inserted.
Only way I found was to grab an O2 UK SIM wile I was in transit in Heathrow. Back home, I had instant OTA update.

So I'll suggest you check what Networks have launched the update already then grab any off-contract SIM (mine was a �10 value) and ... here you go. Hopefully this would be one of your country carrier ... unless you're lucky enough to travel

P.S: you don't even have to activate the SIM.

I have not got the update from my provider, so while visiting Poland, I got a prepaid Orange sim for 5 EUR and got the 10.0.10.80 upgrade after booting with it.

I solved my update problem with optus sim. Mine is stl100-2 from malaysia. Trouble is, the official model brought by the carriers here are all stl100-1 (stl100-2 will come along later they say).

Grab urself any sim from carrier that has got the updates and u are good to go.

My model number is still001 and my os is 10.0.0.82. It is latest update for stl001. But I want to update it to At&t 10.0.0.88. When I put Att sim to my zed10 my device says your device up-to-date. How can I receive 10.0.0.88?
