    So I just got a 64gb SD card for my BlackBerry z10, works perfectly the only problem is that the mac can't read it, is there a work around for this? Only way I'm able to transfer files atm is through remote access. I have a 2009 macbook pro on OS X 10.9.4

    How do you transfer the files? Via cable or via the SD slot? I have a mid 2011 Mac Mini, Z10 and a 32GB SD card and everything works like a charm. The best and quickest way to transfer files is to get a microSD to SD adapter and stick it into the SD slot on your Mac.

    Right now I'm transferring files via Wi-Fi and I have tried the SD adapter the mac is unable to read the micro SD card.

    That's weird, I'd try to backup data and format it, Mac shouldn't have problems with it :/ Or try another computer, either Mac or PC, it might help determine where the problem is. If itbworks fine on other computers, the problem is in your Mac, if not, the problem is in the SD card. Also if it doesn't work anywhere, try different adapter.

    Is your 64GB SDXC card formatted to exFAT? Macs have a problem not reading that format.

    I don't think it is, I just formatted it within the phone. How can I format it to exFat?

    when you connect your phone to your mac, it should say that it doesn't read it and that you can Initialize... click that. Then click the SD card and "erase". From there change it to exFAT and you're good to go!
