    LTE is an acronym. Thank goodness we don't make use of CDMA networks I find the name irritating.
    HSDPA etc all acronym. I don't find it ugly.

    Weird the attachment shows when I look at the post. And it isn't the LTE acronym I don't like it's the fact that they did 4glte just looks stupid.

    Things are way complicated when service providers advertise the service, they mislead consumers, 4G, etc. In my country for example they launched LTE and some networks have no throughput whatsoever which I find misleading and consumers spending the extra bucks on LTE devices when they can just use 3G network which is faster than LTE at the moment. Due to interference

    I just thing they should have either 4G or LTE not combine them as they are two different things especially when my carrier verizon only has edge 3G and LTE no BS 4G lol

    I believe it's a carrier thing. I'm with Rogers and when I've got LTE, that's all it says. Won't see 4G unless I've got LTE turned off or don't get any LTE signal

    I like it lol. Why? Because I'm one of the few amongst my friends and family who has a current, LTE capable phone. So...a little LTE bling in the face doesn't hurt. :-)
