Dang! Long story short. Lost my Z10. I want to wipe it. I login BlackBerry Protect but it couldn't communicate with my lost z10. Then I recall I have not gone to setting to turn on BlackBerry Protect. My question: is BlackBerry Protect turn on out of the box?. If BlackBerry Protect is not turned on, is there anyway I can still wipe it? Appreciate any kind bber input. Thanks.

Logically, U have to manually connect it to BB protect..
That's me thinking BB protect for BB10 same as for legacy bbos.
    Sorry to hear your loss...

Thanks guys..bought a new z10 and switch device using the same BlackBerry ID . Hope that helps to limit data access to my lost unit. Dang it. Lesson learned: turn on my BlackBerry Protect. I think it should be on by default.
