    Why don't you use Airplane mode, which turns the radios off? It's an easy switch to activate from Settings / Network Connections, at the top.

    Here's mine, have only restarted the OS when an app or function isn't working properly, which has been rare. Usually closing and reopening apps or turning functions off and on (Ie wifi) fixes the glitch.
