    Even when I turn off location services, the icon is still visible. Any ideas why?

    Maybe it's an app you have installed. Like Poynt.

    I haven't really installed many apps. Those I did, I turned off location services. This issue started around the new patch (just after), and my phones battery has been dying quicker since the issue started.
