    Has anyone noticed a difference in battery life with this on or off? Hopefully it only drains when an app is running.

    There are some apps that leave it on and it kills the batt but most I've seen are good about shutting it down when not in use.

    I turn it off on every phone. It does a lot of background stuff that you don't notice. For example Google phones scan your location to inform maps and create its traffic fore casts. Some apps can use your network a lot causing battery drain.
