    For some reason, my location indicator (top left next to the battery indicator) is on all the time now. It used to only come on when I used a location-based app like Foursquare or Maps.

    Anyone else? I imagine this would be a huge battery drain.

    Not any more. I guess I will have to uninstall one app at a time and see when it disappears.

    Mine is on as well and I don't have poynt or any other apps like it... I cannot for the life of me figure it out, and I've rebooted the phone twice now

    Did this just happen when you upgraded to 10.1?

    Try opening and then closing a location app, such as Foursquare. See if it goes away after you close the app.

    I have Poynt installed. When I see the location symbol for no reason I open and close Poynt and it goes away. I assumed Poynt was the cause but it may not be.
