I've noticed recently that when I restart my phone, the location comes on and doesn't go away. Tried to narrow it down to an app, but when I restart no app should be running. This could cause a battery drain as well. Please help.

I had this issue with mine. It turned out to be the poynt app.

I had the same issue yesterday, I found poynt was the problem for mine staying on as soon as I deleted the app it went away, it was a worthless app IMO, try deleting location dependent apps one at a time

I just removed poynt and now it's gone. Needs to be fixed since you can't alter any of the permissions. Thanks!

You don't need to remove it completely if the app is useful to you. Just open poynt and close it after it loads up and the location service will go away.

Coulnt you just turn off location services for the whole phone and still use poynt manually? I have since deleted poynt in its entirety, but i was just curious.
