Has anyone tried these batteries before?

Apparently, they have the same dimensions as the original batteries, but they have a larger 2500mah capacity.

Same dimensions and a huge capacity gain equals a scam.

    I could trust a 1900, maaaaaaybeee, and just maybe a 2000.

Dude, just take a close look at the picture...
It reads 2000mah on the battery and it's advertised as 2500mah!

Seems a bit shady, doesn't it?!

I actually bought a battery off eBay for my z10 besides the shoddy plastic part. That broke off when I bent it. I actually get better battery life. It's rated at 2300

Could you post the ebay link here by any chance?

And how do you know that it is rated at 2300mah? Did you have any apps to measure the battery size?

Stop dreaming about better battery for your Z10. We've all been there before.

Whatever some people say here is placebo effect. That's been measured many times by people here and If you look for 2300 thread I made some measurement with battery analyser. No difference. Period.
If you want better battery you need to get 3600mah with new back cover making the phone bigger. Look for threads with 3600 or 4500.
4500 is in fact 3600. Same scam method like 1800 vs 2300.

There is actually only one battery of OEM size that could give slightly better battery life. Mugen or Polarcell 1900 mah. And I say COULD. They are slightly heavier than OEM as per their spec sheet, but I didn't come across a thread that would confirm higher weight and better battery life as a consequence.
If 100 mah more makes sense for you go for it and let people here know how it fares.

I think I will go for the 1950mah battery from Polar cell actually.

I really like the Z10 style and I want to keep the look while maximizing the battery life.

It's such a shame, because BlackBerry always had an excellent reputation for long battery life. And they dropped the ball with the Z10's battery life.

It's a fake. There's one that I know that actually has more capacity in the same size. It's 100mah though, maybe a few more minutes of uptime? It's by mugen.
Don't expect a capacity gain of more than 300mah at the same size and same chemistry, Lithion, nimh, and such. Science

No don't believe those. Unless the battery's physical dimensions are bigger than the original battery, then I highly doubt that the "extended" battery will actually extend your uptime. Remember that non genuine batteries are probably not regulated and do not meet EU safety standards, therefore they can pose a serious fire hazard. This kind of thing has happened many times and the victim attempts to blame the device manufacturer even though they knowingly used a shady accessory.
Just do what I did, buy a battery bundle and carry a second full battery around with you. When one goes flat, swap them on the go.
