Hi all,

Dropped my Z10 while on a ladder on Saturday and cracked the screen. Bought a new Z10 within an hour off Kijiji, but would like to repair the old one too

I've disassembled it to find the LCD assembly part number, but haven't had any luck so far. I don't yet have the smaller Torx driver so I'm assuming the part# I'm looking for is under there.

In any case, the 2 assembly parts that seem to be referenced on ebay are LCD-46537-002/111 and LCD-46537-001/111. The only similar part I can see so far is TSP-46538-020-1.

Questions:

1. Is it a T1 or T2 Torx drive I need for the smaller screws?
2. Where should I be looking for the LCD assembly part number?

I think that I've read it is on the back of the assembly. And there are different parts, even for the same z10 model. So you need the exact number from YOUR part.

Sorry about your loss and good luck on the repair and enjoy the new phone. Reports are that ladder accidents really do a job on PEOPLE, so lucky it was only your phone.

thx - just need to undo the smaller screws to get to the part number now - anyone know if it's a Torx 1 or 2?

Maybe one of the disassembly videos notes which size driver is needed? Otherwise drag it to the hardware store and check!

You have to completely remove the screen from the housing to find it.
