I was just wondering what this option does when turned on. I tried looking for info but couldn't find an easy explanation. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Each key pops up a highlighted box of that character in front of your finger when pressed.

does exactly what you think. when you press the key on the keyboard a larger version of the letter pops up above the key as confirmation to what you pressed.

When you type on the keyboard, the letters become larger and pop out when you tap it. If this option is turned off, you won't see your keystrokes pop up.

When on, a big symbol of the key you pressed flashes briefly above the key so you can determine if you pressed the key you thought you did. Try typing with and w/o the option enabled and you'll see.

I wonder, do people here have this option turned on or off? I usually have it on, but I tried it yesterday with it off and for whatever reason, it seemed just as good.

It is still good of course but you just won't see the letter as you type. Personally, I like it and tend to make less mistakes with it on, but that may just be me

I might try turning the pop up button option back on for a Day, I normally have it off and found that it was a bit distracting. I would be curious to know how many out there have this option on as well.

I've turned it off immediately. Doesn't do anything but adding an extra animation. In my opinion it can only slow things up.

I was looking for the same answer..I have mine turned off and When turned on I couldn't figure out what is does..maybe because I am using the passport with physical keyboard..I didnt notice on virtual 4th role?

Use the feature all the time on my Z30, helps me know if I've typed the right letter or not instantly... think it's just a personal thing tho
