Has anyone experienced the keyboard now showing up from a locked screen? I swipe up and I just see my wallpaper faded out, but the keypad doesn?t appear. I tried to restart, but then that stalled as well. Had to pull the battery! Ahhh!

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding, but why do you need the keyboard on the Lock Screen? Do you mean to enter your password?
If you don't have an alphanumeric password, there is no way to invoke the keyboard on the Lock Screen.

I will tell you one other thing: Don't battery pull on BB10!
This isn't legacy BBOS. Like many electronics, you should power BB10 down properly before removing the battery. (Maybe this is what you're doing; I wasn't sure from your post.)

The BB10 equivalent of a battery pull is the hard reset. This is NOT the same as a Restart.
Hold down the top key and do not release it. Ignore all onscreen options.
After the red LED flashes on then off, release the top button.

There's no downside to a hard reset, so I virtually always use that when necessary.

Correct, the keypad to enter my password did not show up. I did try the reset by holding down the top button but it didn?t work. That was why I pulled the battery. So far, everything has been working fine since. I've had the Z10 for a year and this was the first time I had this kind of problem.

Have you tried doing the double finger swipe from the bottom bezel to force the keyboard open?

i try to do all that option but still my key board missing to type my basic password.

I have had this issue a few days ago. No matter what I did the keyboard would not show on the password lock screen. I had to reboot to fix the issue.

Did you try swiping UP with two fingers - that can invoke the keyboard.

Press and hold the power button should bring up the shutdown screen. Or press and hold both volume keys to do a hard reboot.

That also only doing restart and when restart complete again i get password request screen with out keypad
