    What is the best way for me to keep my contacts? I want to do a security wipe but i hate that I have to play with my contacts afterwards to get them back the way they were. BlackBerry Protect backs up everything but contacts right? I have vzw bap but it doesn't do anything. Whenever I try to sync my contacts it gives me an error.

    You should use intouchapp contacts. It's free, has been updated so many times since I got it and is pretty reliable. I have had no issues with it. Try it. It's available on iOS and Android as well, so you can use the same app to transfer contacts between different devices.

    And, BB protect on BB10 doesn't do what it does on BB7. It just helps you locate a lost phone and wipe it remotely.
