Just seen my first Z10 tv ad

First UK ad for the Z10 just shown in the UK on ITV during the half-time break in te England vs Brazil soccer match at Wembley Stadium. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen another Blackberry ad on tv in the UK, so maybe a tru BB first?

Great Job. BlackBerry set a 2 billion marketing budget for BB10 as I remember. Great to see they started paying some of it on advertisements

I wasn't watching football but caught the end of that ad. I paid attention to the quirky song whilst on my BB, looked up and saw BlackBerry.

BlackBerry had lots of ads for the Bolds a while back so it isn't new to see BB ads on UK tv.

I saw it too... I recognised the music as I was listing my old Torch 9860 and Bold 9000 on ebay... gave me a good inner glow, though I'll be sorry to see them go.....

but what the ****, I have my new Z10 to soften the blow!

When asked about this, Thorsten said, "we will see a cash drop to support the launch of BlackBerry 10, but I don't expect our cash balance to drop below $2 billion".

Launch activities include marketing, production, distribution, app development incentives etc. This is not the same as "RIM's spending $2 billion on marketing".

They probably have a decent campaign over $100 million" planned but no way they'll spend $2 billion
