Wow. Is VZW still gouging people for "corporate email" plans? I thought we were finished with that ripoff with BB10.

The name of that plan is like the worst of all possible worlds: extra charge for "corporate email" and only 2G data.

I called at 0740, the Verizon rep said they went on sale in my region (the Northeast) at 0800. Woo-hoo!

If you get the 4G sim card, you wont have unlimited date anymore as I understand it. I was grandfathered in to unlimited data, as long as it was 3G. Since I got the 4G card, I had to go with a data plan.

Makes more sense. I already gave up "unlimited" when I starting using LTE when it first came out on VZW. No big loss to me, since "unlimited" really wasn't "unlimited" anyway.

Having the first LTE Blackberry, finally with a good web browser, on the best US LTE network seems rather pointless if I had to throttle it back to EVDO-Rev-A.

During my order process it did not make me select another plan other than the one I currently had. My plan stayed exactly the same with the exception of the removing of 3G and the adding of 4G. I don't know if it matters that I was not eligible for an upgrade.

Just called customer service to confirm. They said my unlimited is accurate and will still be unlimited when I activate.

Isn't in 2 GB of data? Not 2G data technology?

Had to order over the phone because link would not work. They did not ask about 3G vs 4G sim card, but I am already on a shared data plan so I assume I get a 4G sim card.

I had to give up my unlimited data plan up as well, Bummed about that but got the phone. I think it will be delivered on the 28th....

POTENTIAL HELPFUL HINT: I first logged in to my account and then tried to upgrade from there. It would not go thru. I opened a chat/help session. She had me log out, clear cookies and then go to the Pre-order page first, and THEN log in to my account and it worked like a charm after that.

    GLTA!!!

To those that are saying they had to give up their unlimited plans. Are you paying retail price $599 or are you getting the subsidized price $199?

Verizon did a nice job on the Z10 pre-order page. Looks great.

I don't like how they put their logo on the top of the phone.

Anyway, happy for you all! I am still waiting for T-Mobile.

You should check out the BestBuy pre-order page. They use sliding page elements to emulate "peek" - pretty cool.

And what exactly did you like about the VZW page? When I tested it a bit, I discovered that it ended up being a generic order/pre-order page, didn't even remember you came there for a Z10 and presented a giant list of devices at one point, with nothing but iPhones at the top.

Grandfathered plan. Never really was unlimited anyway. If you go over 5GB (and the exact bar is at their disgression) they throttle you down to analog modem speed or something, or cut you off entirely if you keep doing it. (or force you to upgrade the data plan)

This is correct, it clearly states when you are ordering you are KEEPING the unlimited when you already have it.

Really? I didn't see iPhones.. at least didn't notice. It had a few videos too. Much better than AT&T's boring *** page.
