When I first started with the Z10, I found flick typing to be a cute and effective typing innovation. However, I mainly relied on the amazing autocorrection to sort my thumb-mashing into actual words and intended sentences.

More recently, I find that I've gotten so comfortable with flick typing that I start to anticipate the keyboard suggestions. I know it's going to suggest the right word on the next keystroke so my laziness preps me to flick the word in place rather than to tap away at virtual keys.

Maybe it's just me becoming more proficient with the keyboard, getting lazier, or a combination of both. Bottom line is, I love the virtual keyboard. I love a crap ton of things on BlackBerry 10 for that matter. In spite of the looming darkness over BlackBerry's future, I'll buy their phones till their corporate wheels fall off.

I hear ya. Whether I'm walking the dog, carrying a grocery basket, a coffee... doing other one-handed things... flick typing is indispensable.

I always use it. I have sentences that i use frequently and can rely on my keyboard to know what I'm typing and it makes it easy to send messages fast and efficiently.

I've tried my best but can't get the hang of it. Guess I'm not a very good flicker.

While on holiday I was posting daily trip diary entries on Facebook for my family. I had my Zed10 or PlayBook to choose from. I took the Z10 every time because flick writing is so fast and easy. I could crank out 75 to 100 word posts in no time.

Flick typing is so helpful especially when you get space after the word directly

I like it too. However, why does the suggested word result in a full stop followed by a new sentence, when not desired.

Love the flick typing! It's so intuitive. I lived with an Android device for 2 years and couldn't get used the predictive text, hitting the word at the top of the keyboard is just not intuitive at all. Never got used to it.

Because the auto correct in the space bar is so effective, I have usually just used that. However more and more when I am typing I use it. Features of this phone just keep getting better the more you use it.

My wife told me that I was getting sweeter. Little did she know that it only takes me a couple of swipes to say "I love you so much"

Don't get me wrong, I do love her - I just found it easier to say now with flick typing

I have also noticed that I am using flick more. It just seems natural on the Z10.
