    Hi

What seems to be the problem? If you can describe the problem your having I will try to rectify it for you.
    What's your ViewRanger account email?
Hopefully will have you back up and running in no time.

    Thanks
    Ben

Ben thanks, very kind, but it stopped all the time, didn't show on map the course, or the whole track, it only showed the beginning point due to gps, but after seconds, stopped, no show of any heights, or any other details :-( very disappointed

Awe that's a bummer. I just downloaded this and was looking forward to testing it out.

@Ben is it the same than on Playbook. Screen needs to keep lit for GPS to run??

Yes the screen needs to be on. The GPS tracking stops until the screen comes back then draws a straight line from where it left off.
Not sure what the OP's problem was but the program does work, but like the playbook version you have to keep the screen on manually.

There is no way, the authors didn't include this essential feature for some reason. :/

I would say that, at this point in time, ViewRanger is not useful for recording a track as it stops recording when the screen turns off.

However, it works very well for my purpose of navigating on a bicycle. I've downloaded Opencyclemap tiles (which show many cycle routes) to my z10, and when I need to check my location, I pull the phone out of its sleeve, turn on the GPS (within the app), and, voila, there I am. I can follow along if I need to, or re-sleeve the phone and the GPS turns off and saves the battery. Works great, even without a network connection.
