Hi I have a Zed @ 10.0.85 and I'm trying to backup to my PC running windows 7 with BlackBerry link ver 1.1

I can back up settings, media no problem, but when I go to backup application it gets to1% and the backup crashes saying backup failed to complete. When I backup I have put the phone in airplane mode, any help in this would be appreciated

Have you tried to reinstall Link? it can be finicky at times

Do you have the PC recipe box installed by any chance? That was preventing my backup

I haven't been able to backup either. No pc recipe box airplane mode on use older version of link newer version of link gets to around 35% then fails
I gave up a week ago lol

I downloaded the most current BlackBerry Link this AM and backed up no problem....... except it took 15-20 min over USB.

That's my biggest issue with Link is its slow to load, backup, etc.

I previously had this issue with my Z10

After doing an initial backup the day I brought it home, I couldn't back the thing up for a month. It wasn't until the first OS update came along that I was finally able to do backups. Since then everything's been fine.

Sorry this doesn't help much right now, but hopefully that 10.1 OS update is not far from release.

I do have that app, it will remove and try again, and if that doesn't work I will load an older version of Link any ideas were I can find those?

Vah I cannot get my PC to recognize and connect to my Z10 over wifi.

Hi all so I figured it out

- deleted link
- reinstalled newest version x.37 on my PC
- removed the PC recipe box app from phone
- put phone in Airplane mode
- connected to PC
- Backed up all files
Took about 20 minutes to save

I'm just so happy finally getting mine running that I'm going through all threads about BBlink just to spread the good word.

1) Install BB Link
2) Connect Z10
3) Turn WIFI OFF on your Z10
