    Default Integrated FM transmitter?

It would be awesome if there is a FM transmitter in BB10 devices. If they're using the same WiLink chip as in the PlayBook, the only thing that they need to add to the devices would be an antenna.

That would be a workaround, but I don't want to carry an extra device around and I really enjoy the inbuilt FM transmitter in my old N8.

If the NAB had there way they would require RIM to put FM transmitters in all mobile electronic devices.

I am SiriusXM user and commute by car so I do not think the FM transmitter would get much use from me.

Would it not be better to just have a car radio with bluetooth? I would think it would be better than a FM transmitter as you won't have interferring FM signals.

Yes, it would be better, but our car doesn't have Bluetooth. Right now my Nokia 808 PureView comes to the rescue and it works quite well.
So while it's better to use Bluetooth, it's just not available everywhere. Think about older cars, rental cars or other basic radios (e.g. in a hotel room or bathroom). Having the choice to use a FM transmitter would be greatly appreciated in those situations.

To be frank I'd rather have an FM receiver, to have the capacity to turn my phone into a radio Tivo without incurring any data charges.

For the last 30 years, from the Sony Walkman --- the antenna has always been your headphone cable. And it has been this way as well for all the existing Blackberry handsets.

    Default Integrated FM transmitter

I'd rather just install an aux-in jack if the car didn't come with one. FM transmitters are generally poor quality anyway.
