Umm search for an autoloader of whatever OS you want. I recommend a 10.2.0 build.

Right. You can do that with link? If I used link a lot more I would have noticed. Link sucks. I just use it to backup and restore. Wait I thought it just wiped the device but didn't change the OS? Oh well I'll never use it anyway.

Yeah I don't ever use link. Its slow and laggy and just a waste...until you need a restore. But no, factory settings will restore it to the latest "official version" that has been released OTA

No. You will be still on 1055 but returned to the state of the initial installation of 1055. However, it you want to install the old OS you have to obtain the autoloader of that OS version and install it

I suggest doing some maintenance on your computer. I have used CCleaner (Crap Cleaner) to get 50+ computers running smoothly. 100% Free download from a company called Piriform. Been using it for over 7 years. XP, Vista, Win7...Piriform shortened the original name (in parentheses above) to mollify the parents of youngsters. Good for them. I really believe in this app to get Link running a lot better...try it, you'll really like the way your computer responds...and NO I'm not affiliated with Piriform...just hate to struggle.
